I immediately unplugged the fan and called the Big Lots store where it was purchased. I asked for a refund of my money since the product was ineffective and a safety hazard. Since I could not find my original receipt they could offer no solutions other than exchanging the product. I reached out to corporate customer service looking for a resolution and was also told there was nothing they could do to rectify the situation.

The customer service representative told me that no warranty claims are accepted if the problem is related to weather conditions. The representative said the gazebo is only meant to withstand wind speed under 33 MPH. I have been unable to find any such wind speed notification available on any publication about the product. I contacted the managers at the Big Lots store where I purchased the Gazebo and explained the situation.

So I submitted my complaint through phone call and got the case number so I could submit the physical evidence and with in an hour they closed the incident. This is why going to HR hell this is why you shouldn’t work for Big Lots in general. They do not take anything serious. It’s better if you just get an attorney and sue, which is hard if you’re like me an don’t know how or where to start and really don’t have the money to take them to court. They fuck you over because they know they can.

Just gotta sue, lot of you goofies signed that "mediator contract" a couple years ago. Staying that you would allow a mediator of big lots choice to litigate any kind of problem in lieu of real lawyers so it's gonna be problematic for a lot of y'all. I didn't sign that shit.
