Just wanted to give a 2024 update, I had this error message, and was attempting to re-flash the bios to resolve it, because the reset bios defaults option did not work, kept rebooting to the same issue. I formatted a USB drive to fat32, downloaded the bios file from the dell website, renamed the .exe to BIOS_IMG.rcv and copied it to the usb. Loaded the usb in the pc, used the ctrl + esc boot process and was presented with a new option in addition to reset bios defaults that allowed me to load bios from USB. I performed this on an Optiplex 7010 micro.

Thank you very much for the information your laptop is a DELL Vostro 3510.
BIOS corruption has been detected means the BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) is
not in a correct working state. It can be due to a power disruption during BIOS
flash/upgrade, computer virus, or a defective BIOS chip.
If the BIOS gets corrupted for some reason, it will not run correctly, which
will affect both the hardware and the operating system.
You might not be able to use hardware or even boot into the operating system
with a corrupted BIOS. It depends on how the BIOS got corrupted.
So fixing the very first layer of your computer, the BIOS, is critical. In the
worst-case scenario, your motherboard may be permanently damaged or bricked, and
you need to buy a new one.
BIOS recovery is the process of fixing the BIOS from a corrupted state. BIOS
recovery is usually made by resetting the BIOS, updating, or reflashing the
BIOS. Often, the corrupted BIOS is irrecoverable, and the user needs to replace
the BIOS chip or the whole motherboard.
Since you have a laptop what you can try to fix the BIOS is a CMOS reset since
the other procedures are too complicated for the common user.
To perform a CMOS reset you need to turn off your laptop and then disconnect the
charger and any peripherals connected to the laptop, then proceed to hold down
the power button for 60 seconds.
After 60 seconds release the button and wait 10 seconds, if the Laptop does not
turn on automatically after 10 seconds, connect the charger to your Laptop and
turn it on normally.
If the problem disappears then the CMOS reset was successful in repairing the
BIOS otherwise you will have to take your laptop to a repair store so they can
help you repair your laptop's BIOS.
I hope this info to be helpful, my goal is to give you the best advice i can, if
you have any doubt or want to know anything else please do not hesitate to reply
back. The experts at just answer will always be there to help you. For future
inquiries you can contact me directly using @ExpLari Kind regards, Larimar

Hi, my Dell Inspirion has this same issue which also developed on May 26th, 2023I've tried recovering the Bios with USB following the steps here https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000132453/how-to-recover-the-bios-on-a-dell-computer-or-tablet By downloading the .RCV files on a formatted FAT 32 removable drive. This has not resolved my issue and my computer still has a bios autorecovery boot loop. I tried to restore using bios 1.21.0(Apr 2023) as well as 1.4.0 (Jan 2021) and neither have fixed my issue.
