Hi, I just bought the motherboard (the non-WiFi version) and the i7-13700K. I found that the motherboard needs to be updated to use the i7-13700K. Does this motherboard have BIOs Flashback? Or will I need to update the BIOS with a 12th Gen processor?
Thanks!
I've been looking up information about this motherboard and finding so many contradictory statements around whether it has BIOS flashback or not.
My local hardware store lists it under the motherboards that have it: https://www.alternate.be/Moederborden/Intel-moederborden/Socket-1700?t=31029&s=default&filter_23816=304&filter_20543=5&filter_2147483498=27590&filter_28344=4.0
ASUS product manual on their own website mentions it has it "The ASUS EZ Flash 3 feature allows you to update the BIOS without using an OS-based utility", but then why is there no BIOS Flashback icon and USB port visible at the back on the IO ports like all other motherboards with that option do?

I'm planning on getting an i7-13700k so it's important for me I pick a MB that has the flashback to avoid the hassle with having to upgrade the BIOS firstly with a 12th gen CPU.
Based on what I can see on the IO back, can I confirm it does not have it?
If it doesn't, which MB would you suggest for DDR5?Other Z690 boards are significantly more expensive there so might as well just go for the Asus PRIME Z790-A instead at €349, which is the same price as the other 600 series boards there? Then I also won't have to update the BIOS.
I am trying to do a Bios Flash back update to my motherboard for the Intel 13th gen CPUs and I can't find the Flash button all guides and reviews I can find state the button should be on the outside of the PC on the IO but I can find it their or on the motherboard. Does anyone know where it is?
After building my new computer with a TUF Gaming Z690 motherboard and 13700k CPU I realised that there it will not start without first updating the bios to the latest version.
The problem is the motherboard doesn't have a BIOS flashback button.
Please someone tell me there's a way for me to get this to work? (installing a 12th gen cpu is not an option)
I'm building a new system pairing 13600k with a Z690 mobo.
As I understand, I have to flash the BIOS (using the BIOS Flashback button in the back) for the system to even recognize the 13600k and post.
However, according to Asus' firmware website, the Intel ME firmware needs to be updated prior to updating the BIOS.
I'm in a pickle because how do I update the Intel ME firmware if I don't have a functioning system first? I don't have a 12th gen chip lying around either.
What do I do? Should I just risk updating the BIOS first to get the system up and running and then updating Intel ME firmware later?
I have a MSI pro z690-a and I'm trying to do the bios flashback to get my i5-13600k to work on the mobo. I have changed the format of the USB-stick to FAT-32 and the only thing that is in the stick is the bios file which is named to MSI.ROM as the manufacturer wants. I don't have any components on the motherboard and I've tried to flash the bios with multiple USB-sticks. I've tried a 3.0 16gb 2.0 16gb and 2.0 1gb USB sticks which all of them had the same results. And I have the 24 pin power connector and the cpu power connector plugged in. When I press the flash button it flashes for about 5 seconds and then stops blinking and the light stays on... What's happening? Is the board broken? I'm getting kind of frustrated..
