I’ve been getting a constant issue with my HP Windows 10 Laptop for the past few days where I encounter a Bios Recovery 500, but it goes through this in a perpetual loop. It goes through the recovery loading process, reboots, goes into the “System BIOS Recovery has occurred”, reboots briefly again and goes into the same loading screen. I’ve had this occur few times before but only when restarting the Laptop, but it would only go through this process a few times rather than seemingly infinitely.
I’ve tried various solutions such as the USB Bios solution, Windows B, etc. I also cannot manage to get into the Bios menu or safe startup through F2, Enter, F10, or F12 during the HP loading screen. When repeatedly pressed it brings up the option to load into the menu but doesn’t at all.
if anyone has workarounds (such as getting F10 to work, some alternate method to reboot bios, etc), ANY help is welcome as long I don’t purchase something such as a USB.
I know what is causing the issue, I messed up a setting mainly, and resetting the BIOS to default would for sure help, or merely just bypassing this Recovery process temporarily so I can backup files at bare minimum.
If there’s no true fix with the constraints, feel free to consider this as a way to recover data by transferring data to another PC without actually logging in (because I can’t access the login) feel free to give support on that, but only as a last resort L
I’ve been experiencing this issue since earlier this year, and I’m wondering if it’s possible to fix it for free. If not, I’d appreciate guidance on what to do in this situation.
I’ve tried numerous methods to turn it on (e.g., Windows + B, Windows + V, etc.), but none of them have worked. I moved to US and I can’t send this HP laptop to the repair shop at this moment. I’ve also noticed that the time I need to wait before it turns on has gradually increased. Initially, it took 5–6 hours, but now it takes weeks(if you get my point).
Is there any way to completely resolve this issue?(BIOS recovery error 500) I just need a clear answer so I can address it, as I have some important files on this laptop. Here’s some info if wondering: HP ENVY x360 convertible model-13 1920x1080 8 gb ram(just in case) Laptop is currently off and can’t remember any other information. I hope this helps :)
