I have AntiVirus for Mac installed; works well.
But I haven't downloaded and installed their TrafficLight.
Would anyone with experience of both TrafficLight and AdGuard, please have a mo' to advise?
Which is better in terms of performance, not installing un-removable 'extras', effectiveness, reliability, breadth of features etc?
I don't, for instance, need another VPN… use Nord.

Adguard and traffic light don't conflict. I have Avira Browser safety, Emsisoft browser security, Comodo Online security, Malwarebytes browser, BD trafficlight as well as an ad blocker and a thing for blocking scripts. Adguard in my testing is fairly good at blocking phishing and malware links. There's no reason not to use both AG (with malware protection enabled) and BD traffiic light at the same time.

Your call but you could just use Malwarebytes extension and UBlock Origin and not really have much need for anything else. Conflicts aren't too common unless it is a deal-type extension like Honey or for Grammar like Grammarly. Extension issues are usually more about overall performance and in some cases the rendering of a site.
