just realised i will be using the bitwarden authenticator just for 2fa for my bitwarden password manager vault and then will store other 2fas in the vault.

No matter how good something is, we never consider something unbreakable in the world of security, even phenomenal encryption which is, as far as math can tell us, unbreakable, we still never consider it so. This isn't a bad setup, however you'd be better off with a physical security key, especially if you're storing your 2FA codes in BW, I would highly recommend going with 2 Yubikeys, connect both to your account, and keep one in a really good safe somewhere. Rotate them out 1 time per year on a schedule to be sure both are still working and get some usage (wouldn't want to break one and find out the other doesn't work).

It is clear that Bitwarden is the best free password manager around. But in your opinion, is it still the best among the paid ones?
Reason: I started using Bitwarden when I was younger mainly due to its negligible cost, although I always paid for the premium version to support it. Now that I'm older and have a job, I was wondering if, for a service like password managers which I consider important and which I would gladly pay for, it would be appropriate to continue with Bitwarden or there are better alternatives out there. What do you think?

I've been a user future for 2 years and last week several of my accounts were hacked. I was able to recover most but my Facebook is still blocked due to breaking the site's conduct code (I have no idea what they did with my account once they were in). Other accounts that were hacked were ETSY, INSTAGRAM and LINKEDIN.
I saw today that 1password had a breach and I also received a letter in the mail from a company that I didn’t recognize saying that my account was leaked. I'm freaking out a little..
Curious if anyone else has had this experience lately.

Even if they breach Bitwarden, they can only get the encrypted vaults. If they can decrypt your vault, it means you used a weak master password.

last week several of my accounts were hacked. Honestly, I doubt that Bitwarden was directly involved. Do you reuse passwords or slight variations on a single password? Are your passwords randomly generated or did you make them up yourself? Are your passwords sufficiently complex, like 14+ random characters or 4+ passphrase words? Does anyone else use the devices you log in with? Do you download lots of software and/or browser extensions? Do you log in with a device that does not have all its security patches, or--even worse--no longer receives security patches? Excuse my skepticism, but I think the problem likely comes from your operational security, not from Bitwarden itself.
