So, I decided to start using bitwarden today because I thought it would be more secure way of storing passwords.
I just went ahead and changed a few passwords using the generator... now I'm locked out of a few accounts because when re-sign in, the password is invalid. After creating a new password, I updated it in Bitwarden. What the heck is happening?

If you had them saved in Bitwarden before changing the passwords then you can scroll down to the bottom of the entry and view the password history to see your old password.

You have to change the password manually on the websites also. Bitwarden can't reach inside 3rd party sites to set your new password.

It's broken for me on Chrome as well. I'm not going to reinstall it. I'll wait if they fix it with a patch. This will be a great test whether I should migrate my wife over. Releasing an update like this and then not fixing it instantly is unacceptable.

April 29, 2025 - Bad syncing. YOU MUST "RELOAD" the desktop client to get the updated password. This process is frought with error and only works without carefully managing the new password yourself using a text editor on rare occasions.
