So, I decided to start using bitwarden today because I thought it would be more secure way of storing passwords.
I just went ahead and changed a few passwords using the generator... now I'm locked out of a few accounts because when re-sign in, the password is invalid. After creating a new password, I updated it in Bitwarden. What the heck is happening?
Thank you.
Solved: Had to uninstall and re-install the extension
All I see is this.
I created an account on my uni's mail thingy and while doing that I used the in-built password generator to create a strong password. Then I tried to save both my username and my password but bitwarden decided to not save my password for some reason. I panicked when I realised that I probably lost the password and I would not be able to retrieve it anymore, Then I looked it up and saw that the password generator history is a thing but after trying all of the passwords generated that day none of them matched the password that I used in my signup. The site also doesn't have a ''I forgot my password'' link so.... am I f**ked?
Browser: Firefox Version 129.0.2 (64 bit)
Bitwarden Version 2024.8.1
Um , i changed fhe password for my Spotify account and bitwarden overlay suggested a randomly generated password, clicked it, inserted, and submit, and turns out bitwarden didn't save the password it recommneded and i just used as my new spotify password
While using the browser, earlier today, the extension glitched and likely updated. Now I can't use the password generator. Restarting the browser does not help. Thank you.
