12 April 2025 - As Brandy gets plunged into the world of “Hotel Reverie” with the help of Awkwafina’s Kimmy and Harriet Walter’s Judith, she quickly learns the characters, including Corrin’s Clara, will accept her as Dr. Alex Palmer, despite not looking like the original film’s Humphrey Bogart-esque male lead.

14 April 2025 - The reimagined version of the film ends with Clara being shot and dying in Brandy’s arms. Our girl says her lines, the credits roll, and she’s pulled out of the simulation just in time. As a heartbroken Brandy celebrates the popularity of her Hotel Reverie Reborn, she receives a gift from Kimmy and the ReDream team—a phone with a connection to Dorothy’s old screen test, now reprogrammed into a chat-ready AI.

10 April 2025 - After a few minutes of panic, Brandy comes clean to Clara about the nature of her reality, totally upending everything for this AI who has just realized she’s an AI. Black Mirror has really begun to reach the limits of its beloved “self-aware AI and/or digital clone deserving of life” motif in recent seasons, but at least this episode presents a slightly new take: Brandy and Clara start falling in love for real over the course of months, time apparently passing much faster than on the outside.

17 April 2025 - After the "reborn" version of Hotel Reverie is released, Brandy returns to her Hollywood home to discover a package on her doorstep. The box contains a present from Redream: an old rotary phone. Brandy uses the phone to call up Clara, who surprisingly answers. Even though she doesn't know who Brandy is, Clara sweetly tells her she's "got all the time in the world" to talk. The ambiguous ending is "bittersweet," as Black Mirror creator and "Hotel Reverie" writer Charlie Brooker told Tudum.
