Use backup codes or email fallback if your 2FA plugin supports them. If you’re locked out, you (or your host) can temporarily disable the 2FA plugin via FTP/File Manager, then re-enable it and re-enroll after you WP log in. From Bluehost, use Bluehost login to open My Sites and access File Manager or one-click login to regain admin access safely.

Allowlist your IP and exclude /wp-login.php and /wp-admin/ from strict bot checks or JavaScript challenges. Set reasonable rate limits to avoid false positives while keeping brute-force protection. Use your updated WordPress login URL (for example, https://[newdomain].com/[wp-admin]) to complete a normal WP admin login. If you hit a redirect loop, update WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) in Settings → General (or via wp-config.php/phpMyAdmin if you can’t reach the dashboard). You can also use Bluehost login → My Sites → Log in to WordPress to bypass the front door and fix URLs from inside the admin.

r/Wordpress on Reddit: Can ONLY log into my wordpress site via Bluehost. WP admin login doesn’t work.
January 31, 2017 -

I recently created a wordpress site using one of the Launch27 themestreet themes. I hosted the site via bluehost. So, I’m able to edit my site once I log into bluehost, when I try to login just through the WP admin login page, it tells me my username and PW is wrong. I have tried every goddamn UN and password I could have possibly used and it keeps giving me an error or saying wrong password. Any idea why this is, or how to fix this?
