Hi guys, I'm interested in blueparrot m300-xt, but reviewer says it's speaker volume is very low and that u won't be able to hear the voice (of the ppl u r talking to) clearly if u are in noisy environment....
I want to ask is it really that bad? I wouldn't expect to use it in very noisy environment, I'll use it in office environments where distant chatting and few background noise is expected, but not in really noise environment like construction site with hacking works
Also, I'll use it on weekends night, lying on bed flipping around, I pretty sure the m300-xt is secure when in sitting/standing position, but what about lying on bed with head facing ceiling?
Anyone having this model and tried using it while lying? Is it still fit securely?
Bought a m300xt se about a few days ago and the battery only maxes out at 95%. I tried calling both Blueparrott and Jabra support numbers in Australia but turns out support doesn't exist in the country anymore. Haven't heard back on the support ticket as well. I use this thing for critical emergency calls and I cannot have a dud while doing so. Please reach out to me ASAP.

I purchased the BlueParrott M300-XT SE and I am having mic issues with my Windows 10 laptop and iPhone. For the laptop, I have tried paired using the USB dongle that came with the headset and bluetooth, and the iPhone with just bluetooth. The mic issues happen regardless of how I paired the headset. I also confirmed the mic issues happen with multiple apps (Zoom PC/iOS, and PC voice recorder).
There are two mic issues that happen. One the mic random cuts on/off like a bad connection, but the audio on the header comes in just fine. Second is the mic volume will dramatically go low for long periods of time (5-10 seconds). These effects happen for both my PC and iOS and for multiple apps.
What am I doing wrong? How can I fix this?

What kind of questions are considered Tech Support:
How can I fix issue X (e.g.: buzzing / hissing) on my equipment Y
Have I damaged my equipment by doing X, or will I damage my equipment if I do X?
What does equipment X do, or do I really need equipment Y?
Can my amplifier X drive my headphones Y?
What's the meaning of specification X (e.g.: Output Impedance / Vrms / Sensitivity)?
How should I connect and set up my system hardware or software?

Im looking into getting a headset, I've narrowed it down to these two for the most part, but I'm open to suggestions. What are some pros and cons of each and which would you recommend? I've never worn one before so I don't know if I like the bigger or smaller style yet, but I don't see it making a huge difference if the sound quality is good and features work.
Also, I have AirPods. Is it even worth it to get one of these or just stick with one AirPod?
I need a headset for work calls and volunteer tutoring zoom calls using my PC. The calls require me to listen really closely (clients use a crappy conference room speaker, students are using phonetics to learn how to read). At home I use a wired, over-ear headset with adjustable microphone arm, but its bulky. Would appreciate your thoughts on my best options for my one-bag effort? I have small ears and can only use small rubber buds or over-ear. I asked this in digital nomad and the moderator said it was low quality !! It is low quality !! But I'm trying to be a better traveler. Thanks !!
Is there a reason why headsets are still the popular option when there are things like wireless headphones and AirPods or things like that?
I normally use an airpod in one ear, but the big advantage to the trucker style headset is noise canceling microphones. The AirPods aren’t bad, the other person hears me just fine but they still hear truck noise. With a headset like a BlueParrot, the other person won’t even be able to tell you’re driving a truck.
I enjoy feeling like I’m gearing up for a dogfight in a jet fighter.
