yk i came to a conclusion a while back and realised something. it's really hit and miss with almost any product you buy. ive had samsung buds 2 and 3 pro, apple airpods, jbls and all died on me like a few months in. it felt like shit considering i spent so much on them so i just ended up going for cheaper brands ( tagry buds are pretty good) and now although they last like a year or 2, at least im peaceful with the fact that they cost me like $20-$30 More on reddit.com

Max out the phone volume and control listening volume using the BTR5. That is how it is supposed to be run. If you use the output estimator tool in the app it assumes the phone volume is at 100%.

I am looking for good Bluetooth earbuds as my Raycon case just will not hold a charge (and it hasn't even been 6 months). I thought Raycon was supposed to be a quality brand, but I have lately heard people say that they are not any good.
I don't want an Apple product as I have an Android phone.
The problem is that all the reviews on Amazon look pretty fake to me (some of them have 99% 5* reviews and the text looks like AI-generated slop), and there are about a billion brands of earbuds out there that drastically vary in price.
I am searching for something that costs less than $65.
The features that matter most to me are comfort and being waterproof. I use them primarily for audiobooks.

No BT earbuds (or BT anything for that matter) are BIFL, the batteries in them will degrade within a couple years and beyond that the tech inside them will become obsolete
