Those look like full-range auto speakers. They should work fine and sound good in a fairly big box. An amplifier board like this should let you use bluetooth or external inputs plus give you tone controls if you want. A 12-volt rechargeable battery should be the only other thing you need.

My portable speaker just died and I'm looking for a replacement for use in my car. Budget is sub-$100. It needs to be loud enough to be heard driving at highway speeds (the car is pretty old so it can get noisy) and also sound decent. I realize nothing at this price point is going to be amazing, but something that doesn't sound harsh, distorted, or hollow would be ideal.
Right now I'm looking at the following, in no particular order:
-JBL Clip 4
-EarFun UBOOM L
-Soundcore Motion 300
-Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM 3
-Sony SRS-XB100 (possibly XB13)
Review sites make them all seem like decent choices, but looking at actual user reviews gives me pause. If anyone can make a recommendation I would appreciate it, even if it's something not on the list.
I'm not interested in replacing my stereo, so please don't direct me to r/CarAV.
