Bluetooth FM Transmitter and Cigarette lighter (battery draw?) - CorvetteForum - Chevrolet Corvette Forum Discussion
May 13, 2024 - Although I may eventually break down and get a new head unit to replace the Nav system in my new 2010 base, for the meantime I decided to go with an bluetooth FM transmitter so I can at least play music from my phone. Wow...GM could not include at least an aux plug in for 2010? I opted for a very small fm transmitter unit that plugs into the cigarette lighter socket and even fits under the center consul between the seats to keep my interior clutter free (there is a cigarette input under the consul lid).

Bluetooth adapters that plug into the cigarette lighter outlet - ClubLexus - Lexus Forum Discussion
October 24, 2022 - I'll probably use it primarily to answer phone calls hands free. I mostly listen to NPR. ... Audio quality is fine, nothing to run home about but fine. Did you mean, nothing to ... As far as I'm aware, there are no "good" quality devices. They're all cheapo Chinese junk. Some models when paired with some phones may or may not give weird bluetooth problems with random disconnections for no reason.

LPT: Your car radio doesn’t have Bluetooth connectivity? Get a Bluetooth FM transmitter. Plugs into the cigarette lighter, connects to your phone and then transmits your phone‘s audio on a specified FM-frequency. Set your cars radio to that frequency and you can listen to music wirelessly.
Little extra fun, if you’re in traffic and someone is using the same frequency as you their music can come through. Very fun game of “who’s listening to THAT?!” More on reddit.com

Would a cigarette lighter with a blue tooth adapter work?
Simplest way would be the cigarette lighters that clone a radio station. You could get a radio September 2002 or newer and buy an aux cord cable More on reddit.com
