I tried to do it but it didn't help. I also tried to use a USB Bluetooth (ᛒ) adapter, installed their drivers and it also didn't work.
When I switch ᛒ on Windows and turn on device search I only see the following image.

When was the last time it worked properly? Have you made any changes to your computer recently?
Press Start then search Device Manager
Expand Bluetooth
Find the Bluetooth driver
Right click it and select Uninstall device
Tick "Attempt to remove the driver for this device" box
Click uninstall
After that, download and install the latest driver for your device using the link below.

Hi all, I've recently borrowed a friends PC which runs Windows 11, however as far as I can tell it has no bluetooth capabilities built in.
My old PC was the same, so I bought an 'mpow bluetooth usb 4.0 dongle' which worked fine on my old PC, however when I plug it into my friends PC it doesn't work.
I've looked into Device Manager and the USB device shows up under 'Other Devices' as 'BCM20702A0', but when I look in its Properties it says 'The drivers for the device are not installed. Code 28. There are no compatible drivers for this device'.
I've tried using some software called Driver Easy to manually download a driver and install it through Device Manager, and while the software does seem to find and download something, it seems to just be a whole bunch of files, and when I direct Device Manager to look for a driver within the folder that contains all the downloaded files, it can't find anything to use.
Anybody have any advice on how I can get bluetooth up and running? I wondered if perhaps the usb device i'm using is too old for Windows 11 or something.
Thanks for reading, sorry about the essay. Can send any screenshots or further info that is needed.
I was using my wireless mouse and all of the sudden it stopped. I check the Bluetooth and it said connected but I couldn’t add or remove any devices. I check the drivers and Bluetooth is no longer there. Also, I tried to troubleshoot but it said “device not compatible with Bluetooth.” This isn’t a prebuilt, it’s a laptop so it had it prior. Can anyone help me? I tried to completely reset though it did nothing. I just want the Bluetooth drivers!
