I've got a 2008 KIA Sorento, stock radio. I don't have anywhere for aux input, and no Bluetooth in the thing. I'd love to listen to Spotify on the way to school/work, but I know how terrible FM transmitters are so I'd like to avoid that if possible. I'm willing to drop upwards of $100 as long as it's what I'm looking for.
I've always used AUX cable but now have a newer phone and since phone companies made the fantastic decision to do away with the AUX connection because clearly it's saved them fortunes.
Rather then fork out over 100 quid for a new car radio. My old one is completely fine.
Is there anyway to connect my Bluetooth phone to my car stereo. I tried the USB but it doesn't pick my phone up.
I had one of them FM transmitters before but they sounded terrible. Is there a way to make my car Stereo Bluetooth, i've seen some cheap adapters but do they work?
Thank you

I’ve got a 2010 Golf multifuel that’s lacking a bluetooth option. What methods do you recommend to go around it?
I've been searching for a few years now on how to upgrade my e60 to have bluetooth and there are a range of solutions: an OEM upgrade that can run thousands, an aftermarket one that is 5/600, or a bluetooth dongle that plugs into the aux+cig lighter (I've seen posts where people would solder the dongle into the armrest to avoid it being seen).
What are you guys using or have seen?
The things cost 10-20 bucks and work really well, be sure to use a frequency as far away as possible from any local radio stations if you don’t want to get interference.
Similar products exist for your cassette deck as well.
I currently have a car (2008 Jeep Compass) that has aux but no Bluetooth compatibility. Does any body have any suggestions on a good transmitter. Hoping for one that has autocratic connection.
What’s wrong with the aux? I would just use that. FM transmitters are so annoying and a true last resort. Even cassette/aux adapters are better. My previous 2006 Malibu didn’t have an aux OR cassette so I was stuck with a transmitter to play my music. Constantly fighting to find the right channel, constant static, etc. So grateful for Apple CarPlay in my new car
Any roav ones on Amazon work great. I've tried others but they all get static regularly.
I’ve got an 09 escape that Id like to add Bluetooth functionality to, but all of the adapters on Amazon look pretty cheap and many aren’t very clear about whether they output via aux or fm (I want aux). Could anyone recommend a specific model? Budget is around $80CAD but I can go higher if there’s an option that’s significantly better for the price.

My car has an aux port but no bluetooth. My phone has bluetooth but no headphone jack.
I used to use a USB c to headphone adaptor but every one of those I've gotten seems to have issues not including you having to unplug them when a call comes in
I'm trying to read reviews on Amazon but they seem all over the place.
I'm not trying to break the bank....but not trying to get something I'll need to replace in a week. Likewise I'm trying to avoid spending however much it would cost to replace the radio in general since idk how much longer I'll have this car. Thanks!
Exactly like it says. 2006 highlander has a radio, tape deck, and CD player, and the little cigarette-lighter thing that I've put a usb converter into. I thought about just taking out the radio and installing one with aux/BT, but that's $80+ for a one time thing (I usually don't mind and just play music off my phone speakers). Trip is also 1 month away.
I personally would just buy a box of mystery tapes from Goodwill and play music roulette with them, but my friends would likely kill me. Alternatives?
I’ve recently bought a Vauxhall Zafira 11 plate as I needed a bigger car and it doesn’t seem to have Bluetooth or an AUX input (didn’t realise cars were even made without these). I’ve checked the manuals included to see where it should be if it has one but it doesn’t seem like it does.
I bought one of the USB phone chargers you put in the 12V plug thinking I’d hopefully be able to play music through my phone that way but it doesn’t seem to work.
What other options do I have for playing music through my phone in the car?
Hey. I'm looking for a car and among the options I've found some without aux (so no way to connect my phone via cable) and also without Bluetooth. My question is, is there a way to fix this? I know there are extra monitors that integrate at least one of Bluetooth or aux, or I could just change the radio to a compatible one, but I'd prefer something simpler, cheaper, and less bulky.
