Hi everyone,
This might not exactly be a "dumbphone" question per se (and if there's a better community on Reddit for this, please let me know). I found this article about how to convert an old landline phone into a bluetooth receiver for a cellphone, so that your cell is still what's making and receiving the calls (technically) but you can use the old-school phone to do so via Bluetooth. Sounds like it could be a way to unplug at least sometimes!
So, my question: If I were to get an old landline desk phone that was made before Caller ID existed to do this, does anyone know a way that I could see caller ID before answering incoming calls? Would I just connect a caller ID device to the Bluetooth-enabled jack and then connect that to the landline phone?
