I wanted to ask what the best options are when im looking for a pair of bluetooth headphones that have a good mic suitable for calls. My budget is 225 USD. And yes know that i would get better sound for cheaper with a wire but they have to be wireless.
When i looked into this i found that bose (specifically the Bose 700) is supposed to have very good microphones but i also wanted an outside opinion.
Thanks :D

The headphones won't be able to do this. The QC35's operate in two modes; headphones (1) and headset (2). When you pair the QC35's with your iMac (or notebook), they are in headphones mode. Audio quality is fine and things sound great. But, when you take a Skype/FaceTime/whatever call, they switch over to headset mode. Headset mode sucks as it has a reduced bandwidth and therefore reduced quality. It's the only way to use the QC35's built-in microphone though. Whenever you take a call, your notebook and iMac are going to automatically switch the headphones over to headset mode. You'll then have to manually switch them back to headphones mode.
I do know that you can choose to ignore the headset feature of the QC35's using Windows 10. That means that the PC would just use the QC35's as headphones and not rely on their microphone and not switch them over to headset mode. I'm not sure if there is something like that in macOS, you'll have to play around with the settings. Maybe there's a way you can tell macOS to ignore the QC35's microphone.

Hello, I've wanted to change my headset with great mic quality recently, especially the wireless one, because I have a lot of wire stuff in my room, and sometimes it will all get tangled up which is quite annoying. I have do some research and found some options listed below:
Astro A50 Gen 5.
Corsair HS80. This is what I want to buy the most, the mic quality is very decent for a wireless headset IMO, and it also has a great price.
Blackshark v2 Pro 2023. Great mic quality, but I've heard that the build quality is terrible.
I can afford A50, but I still prefer to look for the cheaper option, because I don't really need the "best" one, one that is good enough will do for me. What do you guys think? Is HS80 great? or any other recommendation?
