This is my first time installing Blum under mount drawer slides and I can’t get them to close properly. The fronts are protruding 3/8 of an inch in front of the cabinet, but the back aren’t even all the way seated in the back. I have the 22” Movento slides, and my drawer is 21 3/8”. What am I doing wrong?

Hard to tell anything from these pictures. Blum has VERY detailed plans for installing their slides and even have an online tool where you can input the exact dimensions of your cabinet and they will tell you all the setbacks, etc. You cannot screw up if you use their tool. I recommend you get their installation jig which makes the process idiotproof.

That little point on the slide should go into the hole on the back of the cabinet. In the second photo it looks like the point is not in the hole.

I am installing Blum 21" undermount slides on an existing bottom drawer in the kitchen. (The old one had side rails that failed due to weight.) I think I am OK with the side and height clearances, but the cabinet is 22.75 inches deep and the drawer is only 19.75 deep. So my question is if the Blum can adjust for the depth difference, or do I need to add a block to the back to allow the pin to latch?

For instance a slide I use states for 5/8" drawer sides deduct 3/8". Therefore, if the opening for my drawer box 16", I would make the drawer box 15 3/8". I have made these plus or minus 1/16 due to planing off dovetails and they have always worked perfectly. Just follow the instructions on the data sheets. Took 40 grit sand paper sanded one of the cleats so it could slide. Should I run these cleats through my planer and shave off 1/16 on each one for easier install?
