January 17, 2024 - Therefore the drawers can be within 1/8 plus 1/8 or 1/4 inch. Seemingly a reasonable amount of tolerance. I haven’t had too many issues with them. Other than when first using them, I watched a few videos from the US. The drawer slides up here in Canada are different than the ones used in the US.

I'd like to install some Blum tandem undermount slides on these drawers:
I find the Blum instruction sheets a bit unclear and I'm unsure what size of slides to get.
According to the specs for the 21" slides, the drawer should be 21"15/16 minimum.
My drawer is slightly shorter (21"3/4). So I assume maybe I have to use the 18"... If so, then that means the drawer wouldn't fully extend, correct?
Should I use the 18" or 21" slides, or is it still possible to make it work with the 21"?

The drawer should be 21" deep if you are using the 21" slides. 21 15/16 should be inside clearance from the face of the cabinet to the face of the back panel.

The drawers would be 18 and 21. You’re overthinking it. You need about and inch deeper that whichever drawer depth you use. For example 21 inch drawers need close to 22 inches inside the box. I’m a cabinet maker of over 25 years and we use Blum slides
