In using the wrong tool for the job, I put a little too much stress on the gears in my bodum grinder (model 10903). Both gears are missing a tooth (I assume the top left one with fewer teeth is more of an issue). I took it apart to see if I might replace them with off the shelf parts but it's not looking good, as they look pretty custom. The grinder still functions, but makes a hell of a noise, and I am concerned it will eventually become non-functional.
Does anyone know of a resource for parts like this? Or have they had success dealing with bodum directly? I am expecting that 3d-printing or machining these pieces will cost enough to make me consider getting a new grinder altogether, but I'd love to be wrong. Any guidance is appreciated!
