No experience with the Bose, but I had the AirPods Pro 1 and now using the 2. They're definitely (to me) a step up in sound quality. I wouldn't say noise cancellation is very different, but I've been on multiple 10+ hour flights and found the noise cancellation it does provide allows me to relax and enjoy a relatively quiet ride. On longer flights, they're great to have. Also have a really long battery life. I picked one up for like $20 on Amazon recently, and I have to say it's pretty good at what it does. I'd love something more compact like the Kokkia but for 5X the cost it's a hard sell
