April 29, 2025 - Access your Mac's Bluetooth Settings to connect your Bose headphones. Select System Settings > Bluetooth. If you don't have Bluetooth turned on, move the slider next to Bluetooth.

September 18, 2024 - Go to System Settings on your Mac. Select the Bluetooth option and ensure it's turned on. Once in pairing mode, your Bose headphones should appear on the screen. Click the 'Connect' button to pair them with your Mac.

So, in the absence of the app, Mac users need to know how to make these adjustments on their devices. Fortunately, through Mac’s sound settings, you can set default volume levels for alerts, audio output, and input (microphone).

2) Go into System Preferences for your mac and open the Bluetooth option. 3) You should see the Bose QC 35 show up in the Device list. On my computer this only took a few seconds. 4) Right mouse click or double finger click (if using the touch pad) on the Bose QC and a pop up menu should appear.
