Which is why the QC45 is not on the website anymore, but you may still be able to find them. Whether it's worth the upgrade probably depends more on whether you already have one. For example I have the NC700s (the older version of the Ultras) and to me it wouldn't be worth buying the new one since mine are still working. There’s not much difference between the QCs and the Ultras. I have both and I don’t think I’d get the Ultras again given the choice.

Yes! They are usually on sale so be patient before you buy them. Hard case option you can get for $200 if you wait for the sales, soft case is somewhere around $170 at Costco. The sound quality is amazing not far from ultras especially for the music, make sure you get your EQs right. Noice cancelation is better on ultras but just slightly nothing major. Overall QCs are one of the most comfortable headphones ever, never had an issue with them during any season or wearing them for a long hours. They also have less glitches with Bluetooth compared to the ultras. More on reddit.com

Hi all, I'm a bit confused on the naming scheme and whether the Bose QuietComfort Headphones are the same as the QC45's with a different name? Or are these 2 completely different models of the same product?
