It’s possible, depending on your definition how wireless the surrounds need to be. The Surround Speakers generally connect wirelessly to all Bose soundbars, but you need to run wires into the connection boxes, which add cable and a bit of bulk to the system. It’s not yet as easy as with Sonos. All speakers in the Bose Home Speaker line and the Portable Home Speaker are capable of doing just that. The Bose Home Speakers 300/500 do have an Aux port. I don’t believe, that the Bose soundbar can be used with a 3,5mm jack, but I'm not entirely sure. Fyi: The Bose Home Speakers can not be used as surrounds for the soundbars. Only the Surround Speakers 500 or 700 can be used as surrounds. More on reddit.com

What you’re looking for is called a Bose lifestyle audio system. The previous owner didn’t really do you many favors by taking the console with them. And as you found out, Bose is getting pretty bad about providing support for discontinued items. I had a technical question about some 901 speakers recently ended up talking to someone who was clearly not in the United States that was unaware that Bose even made that product. I seem to recall a third-party harness that would connect to the Bose lifestyle expansion amplifiers so that they could be used with normal off-the-shelf equipment but I’m not sure about that. Worst case, you would need to get a stereo system and build it up from scratch and then buy some amplifiers to drive the speakers around the house. Everything. Box construction is cheap, basically zero internal damping, parts are cheap, sound is bad. But they have a great marketing team… Although they don’t actually make hi-fi loud speakers anymore from what I understand so I suppose it’s kind of irrelevant You can buy much better performing speakers with much less money and not have to worry about upgrading drivers or crossover components I have personal experience having owned a pair of 301s and 401s in the early 90s back when I thought they were the top end option… Which of course is exactly what their marketing team wants you to think :-) It was a revelation when I upgraded to a pair of paradigm 3se mk III’s More on reddit.com
