Wandered into my local Bose store in inquiring how to dispose of my broken QC25s. the rep offered me a 25% discount for the NC700s ($300) or the QC35 II for $205 in exchange for the QC25.
Turns out the Bose stores are closing and are trying to clear stock.
Yup. I get that everything is moving to online sales, but this is kind of a bummer.
My first Bose experience was as a kid in the mall. They had a mini movie theater setup in the store to demo their surround sound technology. I remember very clearly that was the moment when I realized how amazing Bose is with the experience they offer.
That actually summarizes Bose really well - they don't just make products, they make experiences. I hope they can continue to do so effectively with their new sales approach.
Couldn’t be farther from the truth, I work in one of the stores, trade-in from QC15/25 to QC35 for $209* has remained at our stores for more than two years now. Bose is NOT liquidating as it closes. Bose products will continue to be sold through third party retailers like Best Buy, Target, and other participating retailers ☺️
I bought an S1 Pro+ earlier today for a ridiculous 80% off for $250, and of course only now that I have already made the payment I am wondering if it is actually too good to be true.
Does anyone have any experience with this site and know if it's legit?
Cheers
