I have had the Ultras for just a couple weeks now and I love them. They really do sound a lot nicer than my AirPods Pro 2's, but the noise cancellation is about the same. I had a n issue where the ANC was barely working in the left earbud, but I looked on Bose's website and followed their instructions to reset the headphones and they are working fine now. r/bose on Reddit: Why has Bose been having so many issues with some of their products lately?
January 27, 2024 -

I've been reading on here about some of the issues that people have been having with some Bose products, especially the Ultra Earbuds and Headphones. How could Bose not have fixed this stuff before the products were released? Surely they would test them before they are released to the public. It's weird that so many people here have had negative experiences because I've been reading some of the reviews online and they say that they are pretty good. I've also heard that their customer support isn't very good, which is pretty disappointing for a company like Bose.

r/bose on Reddit: Read this if you have connectivity issues with Bose QuietComfort Earbuds 2

I got these yesterday and have experienced one event where they wouldn't connect. I found others on reddit saying it's the iOS app and that if you delete it the problems go away.

I have a simpler solution:

Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Bluetooth - revoke bluetooth access for the Bose app in there.

Then it can't connect to the buds unless you re-enable it. Will monitor and report back if the connectivity issues occur again. I suspect that all the people who have no issues with these aren't using iphones. This should get fixed with a firmware update at some point I'd think.

I want to turn on my Bose SoundLink III, but it won't turn on. Perform a check to see if the device will power on when running on AC power (plugged directly into wall). If the issue persists when using AC power, the problem may either be with the charging port and cable or the speaker's motherboard.
