I've been reading on here about some of the issues that people have been having with some Bose products, especially the Ultra Earbuds and Headphones. How could Bose not have fixed this stuff before the products were released? Surely they would test them before they are released to the public. It's weird that so many people here have had negative experiences because I've been reading some of the reviews online and they say that they are pretty good. I've also heard that their customer support isn't very good, which is pretty disappointing for a company like Bose.

I got these yesterday and have experienced one event where they wouldn't connect. I found others on reddit saying it's the iOS app and that if you delete it the problems go away.
I have a simpler solution:
Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Bluetooth - revoke bluetooth access for the Bose app in there.
Then it can't connect to the buds unless you re-enable it. Will monitor and report back if the connectivity issues occur again. I suspect that all the people who have no issues with these aren't using iphones. This should get fixed with a firmware update at some point I'd think.
