Front on, the unit stands just ... soundbar designs, but look from above and you’ll see it boasts significant depth – 30cm to be precise. Instead of being positioned in front of your TV, Bose’s serving suggestion sees your TV actually sitting on top of the Solo. TVs look a little odd perched on top, but it is a novel idea. Obviously a separate sub would produce better bass response, but if you do not want/need a subwoofer this soundbar is a solid choice. It has a 3.5 aux input which allows volume to be controlled via the connected device (meaning you don't need to juggle two remotes).
