July 14, 2018 - If your have the soundbar connected to the HDMI-ARC output of the TV and have CEC turned on in the TV menu then the TV remote might adjust the volume of the Bose. It won't affect the volume of the Bose when you use it with other sources so I think getting a replacement Bose remote will be the simplest solution.

I have a Bose 300 soundbar, and the remotes are perpetually out of stock at Bose.
I can't seem to find a 3rd party remote to replace it, at least the options aren't clear due to Amazon and Google being the least useful ways to search for anything these days
Any suggestions?
