Yeah it’s definitely worth it. I have the soundbar 900 and the bass module 500 with the virtually invisible 300 surrounds and they sound great. Especially if you watch Dolby Atmos movies or games. More on reddit.com

I have tried the Bose surround speakers and they just are not good. They are extremely quiet and very underwhelming. Are there any other speakers I can use as surround speakers besides the two that are directly marketed as surround speakers? There is a decent enough sale going on right now. Yeah it’s definitely worth it. I have the soundbar 900 and the bass module 500 with the virtually invisible 300 surrounds and they sound great. Especially if you watch Dolby Atmos movies or games.

I had the surround 700s for a couple of days and returned them. I don’t think they’re worth the price…even the refurbished price is too high for what they are, IMO. Most of my decision was because they sounded anemic and sonically mismatched with the soundbar. The other factor was the wiring w the power brick/ wifi transmitter that I wanted to conceal for wall or ceiling mounting the speakers. I didn’t want to do that work given what they added to the system. Also, I’ve been holding out for updated surrounds from Bose. At this point, I’m not sure if Bose is gonna come out w new surrounds. If Bose is coming out w new surrounds this year, we should hear about it this month or maybe next. If you’re on the fence, it might be worth holding out for another month to see if new surrounds are coming this year.
