What is the Bose Trade In Program?
Are newly purchased items bought through the Bose Trade In Program returnable?
How much credit will I get for my Bose product?
I wanted to buy a pair of the QC35s today and trade in my soundtrue over ear wireless headphones. Apparently, Bose completely shut down their trade in program.
The trade in program was one of the main reasons I've been buying Bose for so long. Kinda seems that's the best way to keep customers coming back. It's like being part of a special club.
What are your thoughts on them shutting the program down?
It was never meant to be a trade in program, employees and customers just treated it as such. It was designed to be a courtesy for customers with defective and out-of-warranty headphones. It would probably still be around if everyone didn't abuse it so much.
What other companies offer such a deal? Almost none. Doesn't make sense financially. Especially for tech products.
Also, Bose 2nd hand market is as strong as apple's. You can sell them used on eBay for a decent price.
I have the QC45's from 2021. Bose is offering the Ultra for $299 or the latest QC for $239
Part of me is wondering if I'm getting refurbished models?
And also wondering if I should splurge and go for the ultras, should I go thru with the trade.
