There’s been a few threads on this before and I’ll always give the same advice: take a big breath before submerging, let out air only as necessary to pressurize and get to the bottom, when you grab the brick take an extra second to plant your feet on the bottom with the brick against your chest and push HARD straight up (don’t try to go up at an angle). This is where you let out the rest of your air and kick hard. If you can, try to get one hand free to help paddle for the surface, this is why resting the brick on your chest helps because your body will lift it up. And then it’s a mental game from there. You have to get to the surface either way, may as well force yourself up. Once you get it the first time the rest are easier. At the surface lean back a bit to support the brick and eggbeater for the wall, moving backwards as it’ll be the most effective. Edit: if you’re having trouble pinpoint where that trouble is and just practice that part before adding the rest back in (in your case that’s the brick dive and resurfacing) More on reddit.com

I know it’s a long shot but would anyone know who manufactures the ‘made in Canada’ sofas at The Brick?
We bought the Morty sectional from them last year and it wasn’t good quality. Didn’t last 6 months. We’re on the hunt for a new sofa (ideally a sectional) and I’d like to buy Canadian but I’m hesitant. I don’t want to end up with the same manufacturer lol.
I’ve heard eq3 is good. Any others?

I bought a Brick sofa that didn’t last a year. Bought a higher end one from a local higher end store that was an extra $500 from the Brick. It has now been 4 years and it still looks brand new. My takeaway is I won’t be shopping at The Brick any longer
