Finding the right carburator for briggs & stratton engine
The actual model number should be stamped into the flywheel cover on the glass end closest to the front of the tractor. With all the complaints coming in over Chinese carborators. I would recommend disassembly, soak in Pin-Sol overnight, and purchase a rebuild kit from a small engine dealer. That’s the EPA info. You need the actual 12 digit engine number xxxxxx-xxxx-xx. It could be on a sticker on the gas tank, stamped into the top of the rocker cover or stamped on a metal plate right over the muffler. More on reddit.com

OK, so it looks to be a "pulsa jet" carb. If so, it has two fuel pick up tubes, a short one and a long one.. Tell me again what you are looking for, just the diaphragm/gasket between the carb and tank?? More on reddit.com

Unfortunatly when trying to change the duel hose, it broke and is stück in the carborator.
So now i need a new carborator. However the sign with model and Series, has fallen off during the years and im therefore not able to locate the parts.
How do i either figure out which engine i got? Or Else how do i messure and figure out which carborator to order? Any help is much appreciated.
