I would recommend almost any other brand over these three. These companies are selling low quality products that aren’t worth what they cost. There’s a reason you see them advertised everywhere. Has anyone tried both or just quince percale? I liked the brooklinen one from a trip to Palm Springs but I have other sets from them and while they haven’t ripped in many years, a lot of the seams looked like they were sewn by a 5y/o.

I’d like to try quince but wanted to find out if they’re as buttery crisp as brooklinen and hopefully not any thinner.

Thoughts?

I own both! I prefer the brooklinen tbh. They are a lot smoother. The quince are thicker than brooklinen though. I have a lot of quince products and they are for the most part great (like the linen duvet cover!) but the sheets are not my favorite.

I’m trying out Quince sheets, and I gotta be honest they’re rougher than I anticipated. When I think linen I was expecting buttery soft worn in linen. But theirs feels a bit scratchy and almost wool-like. I’m wondering if Brooklinen feel the same for those who tried both? Does Quince soften overtime? I only washed once

It does take time, but after several washes the shedding stops and the sheets soften so much. I wouldn’t buy another set of Brookline now that I have the Quince!

My Brooklinen never stopped shedding and wore through in less than 18 months. So far quince is significantly sturdier.

So I've been on a quest to make my bed as comfortable as possible.. I bought a set of brook linen luxe sateen sheets + comforter, it came the other day.. slept on it a few nights now (i washed them once) .. The comforter is nice.. enjoying that. However the sheets, feel a little rough to me? They feel a bit dry and sort of rough.. its still nice in a lot of way but I was expecting more. The pillowcases too, I want my face to be on something thats super soft and slippery.. so I just ordered silk pillowcases. I feel like its not good for my face skin to be on a dry/slightly rough surface all night.

I want really nice SOFT almost slippery and COOL sheets as I tend to sleep a bit hot.. what are some good options? Maybe the brook linen sheets will get softer over time and more washes?

When I first got Brooklinen years ago it was super high quality. I bought a set like a year ago and it was completely different quality… The duvets ripped at the buttons. They replaced it and the other one still ripped. I refuse to buy from them now.

Brooklinen are a success in marketing, not a comfortable set of sheets. Rough and nubby and didn't last any longer than a cheaper set.

Hey guys, brooklinen down comforter all season vs ultra warm. Let me know what you guys think. Also, brooklinen was rated top down by wire cutter and 2 different top 10 sites. It’s $360 on sale. My problem Is that it’s 85% Hutterite duck down and 15% Hutterite feathers compared to Quince 100% down. Quince luxe down looks legit but seems like most people love the brooklinen down. Quince luxe is $379 and the premium is $299.

Or if anyone has any other recommendations let me know .

I went by the Wirecutter recommendation too. Now I exfoliate my body on sandpaper sheets every night. Do with that what you will.

For what it’s worth, I have quince linen bedding and I love it. I’ve purchased their sunglasses, luggage etc. Their return policy is fantastic - you have 365 days. They honor that policy, too. Great customer service. It is why I keep going back. You have nothing to lose by trying the Quince one for a few months.

I spent over $200 on Brooklinen Luxe Sateen sheets and they were so god awful after one wash. I couldn’t sleep even one night with them— like sandpaper. How do they get away with it? Are the Percale this bad too?

On the returns it says they will donate them (after deducting $9.95) but I feel bad for the recipients.

Came here and read the love for the Kirkland 680 thread count Pima set and am happily cuddled up in them now. Bought them on sale for around $60.
