Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on a script that generates business names and checks for .com domain availability. I’m curious if there’s interest in this type of service, so I’m offering a trial run.
For $10, you can get a list of 10,000 business name ideas with their .com domain availability checked. The names and their availability will be provided in a CSV file.
Here’s the breakdown:
-
Name Generation: The script creates a wide range of business name ideas.
-
Domain Availability Check: Each name is verified for .com availability.
-
CSV Delivery: You’ll receive the results in a CSV file for easy access.
I’m offering this to see if it’s useful for anyone and to get feedback. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in or if you have any questions, let me know!

Why so expensive?
I've thought about the lack of good tooling to discover available dot coms so there might be smt there. but i wouldn't pay 10 dollars for a list of names that are probably all trash. Maybe generate a sample list and ask for money to unlock the full list? if the sample list is decent - i can see myself spending a bit of $ for more options
also, this is free https://nomenate.com/ and seems to work pretty well
I'm trying to create a baseline in the Bulk Domain search by filtering out benign domains. However the filters I'm using aren't working. I've tried the below filters:
not DomainName = *live.com
DomainName != *live.com
!in(field="DomainName",values=["*live.com"])
Anybody know the correct way to filter a domain out of the Bulk Domain search results? Thanks a lot.

Hello!
Try the following:
event_simpleName=* DomainName!=/(.live|0-0-0-0.*|login.|microsoft|0.0.0.0.*|.fls.*)$/i DomainName!=" "
|drop([@rawstring])
|table([ComputerName,DomainName,IP4Records],sortby=DomainName,limit=1000,order=asc)
You were leaving a space blank between "DomainName" and "!=". Let me know if this worked.
