Sadly, there are a lot of judgmental posts in here. First off, one of them is noticeably autistic and is dealing with delayed development issues. He is not yet able to live on his own. When he is ready, he may choose to do so, and we will do everything in our power to make it happen. Second, like in most of the rest of the world, multiple generations living together can be a choice made willingly by adults. It is just like having a roommate, except that you already know what you're getting into. It allows adults to share expenses and enjoy a better standard of living, ongoing companionship, and so forth. In today's economy, it's often a smart choice. Constantly suggesting that it's some sort of failure on the part of the parents or means that the (adult) kids are just slackers isn't helpful, accurate, or meaningful. Walmart has a silver metal one similar to IKEA old Tromso model. Doublecheck before you buy that growing child will not wack head on ceiling when he sits up. We used a futon rather than a high mattress but even so child had to be wary of ceiling. More on reddit.com

I am an adult (25f) and I still live at home with parents. I work from home and I've been working from home for 2 years now but my room at home is very small. It causes me to work from home at odd places like my bed or my very small desk space and I am planning on redoing my room until I move out.
I think the best solution for me with my current circumstances is to get a loft bed with a desk underneath to save space, so I can actually have my bed seperate from my desk, have a full desk space and a larger roomier room. What is everyone's opinion on this?
I used to sleep in a bunk bed as a kid on the top bunk so it not something I'm unfamilar with and I wouldn't mind (I'm 5'1"). I also do not plan on doing the deed at my parents house anytime soon... 🥴
