Going to be getting a 15 Pro Max soon (poor XS Max's battery is fading fast) and wanted to get something other than an Otterbox for once. I've seen lots of great cases from Spigen, Mous, Dbrand, Casely, and Velvet Caviar, but nothing that really jumped at me as a "gotta have it". I really like the backplate designs of the Burga Elite along with the gold accents, but there are more than a few things about the company that seem vaguely scammy: [on third party sites] lots of reviews from accounts with little / no other review history, the only YT reviews are very obviously scripted / sponsored content, and occasionally reports of poor quality of the prints on the actual product. Further, seeing lots of comments on the basic cases breaking or scratching fairly easily, prints peeling or fading, etc etc.
Typing it all out makes the decision pretty much made, but does anyone have some compelling personal anecdotes against the general online narrative?
If my gut feeling is right, I'll end up going elsewhere for my needs. I'm looking for a case that's got at least some level of protection and looks good, I don't particularly care if it's bulky or not, but I'm not into the looks of e.g. most UAG's "tacticool" cases or the Casetify Bounce's rather eccentric corners. For the more "basic" designs, I actually quite like the Spigen Tough Armor, if only it didn't have the logo cutout that just traps in lint etc. As for budget I'd prefer to keep it under $100 for a case, but if there's a really exceptional one I'm not opposed to paying a bit more (not quite Labodet prices, but y'know).

I have BURGA cases, actually got 2 and got 2 for my partner cause they had that 2+2 deal. So tried both Tough and Elite. Only good words about the cases - pretty and durable, maybe the shipping took a bit long but apart from that I'm happy with them and so is my partner.

This is helpful honest feedback about the cases! I’m looking for a new case for my wife and I…I HATE it when brands plaster their name all over the camera bump surround, was pleasantly surprised to see Burga have a fairly innocuous stamp at the bottom of the Elite case (not very noticeable in gunmetal grey by the looks of the pictures online). Your review is pushing me towards them, I think I’ll take the plunge! Thank you 🙏

Just bought a new iPhone 16 and was thinking of getting a BURGA case, or something similar (maybe The Dairy?). I’m after recommendations for something that has nice designs while also being protective and has MagSafe. Wanting to know if anyone has had any long term issues with BURGA, as I’m willing to fork out the extra price if it’s durable. I’ve read some previous reviews and they’re mixed. I used to have a Casetify case and it SUCKED. Fell apart within 1 year and just don’t want to make the same mistake again. Thanks!

god no. burga is overpriced garbage quality. get a nice leather case! or something from Alcanside... Casetify also sucks. personally i would never put a plastic case on my phone. a cheap case on an expensive phone just doenst really make sense to meeee.. but i also dont usually use a case soooo .. aha

I bought 4 of the Tough burga cases 6 months ago and have used two of them for 2-3 months each and both of them already broke. I have never spent this much on a case before and I am so dissapointed how bad the quality is. Also for what it's worth I also bought the portable charger, and it doesn't stick to the phone magnetically like it is advertised too and after 6 months the battery is already worse and only holds a charge to charge the phone 80% one time.
