Before you go through with this, please note that there are scams ongoing with these Visa cards in store. They steal the cards (before activation), open the package without damaging it (heating glue), copy the info, then make it look new and put it back in the store. Unsuspecting people go and buy it, activating it, scammers check balance daily, and then use it. Last Christmas, my mom paid someone with a $500 visa for some work. They got it, opened it, and balance had been drained. Purchased in Texas and spent in Virginia same day. Visa said it was out of their hands Fair warning.

UPDATE MARCH/APRIL 2024: Prob not going to be the answer you want but I promised I would update . . . So far the only successful work around was to find a Small Business invoice & payment processing platform. A business organization, like a LLC, is usually needed. Maybe you can find one that works with Sole Proprietorships. They will ask for documents and possibly a website to confirm this. Make a payment to yourself (i.e. create an order) and then the funds are yours. Of course there’s a transaction fee involved. I wouldn’t recommend this method to be used frequently. I would do this sparingly.
