Are you allowed to do this? I work at a tech shop and we would never let anyone return hardware based off a change of mind if it's been opened and used. Make sure you check with with whoever you're buying from what their terms and conditions are. More on reddit.com

What's up with Apple's return policy? Only 14 days!

If you bought it with a credit card, I would check with the credit card company about their card benefits. Most cards these days have some sort of policy where they'll refund you the price of the purchase if the store won't accept a return. Edit: except -> accept More on reddit.com
