good evening everyone, I was thinking of buying a webcam, my choice was between the logitech streamcam and the logitech c922 pro, I stream with streamlabs and my upload connection goes to 20 Mbps, from streamlabs my streams are at 720p 60fps ... even if the intent was 1080p 60fps, I guess I have to set the program better, I have a 5900x and a 1070 that I will change as soon as possible, obviously I use the cpu for streaming, I was wondering which of the two to take, say that Is the streamcam worth the money? I'm undecided between 1080 60 fps 1080p 30 fps or 720p 60 fps

Quick question, Im looking for webcam for reasonable price and I can buy those 2 for literally the same price, which one of those 2 would you recommend?
Hi There!
I've been looking into face tracking methods for vTubing and was wondering how the Logitech StreamCam holds up against the c922 Pro? I was interested in it because of the 1080p 60fps option as the c922 can only do 30fps at 1080p.
I was planning on using the face cam with vBridger on the PC with its NVidia tracking. I looked into vBridger IOS tracking as well as I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max, but the difference between the two doesn't seem so major (at least from what I have seen). Although I'm also open to discussion/info around the differences between the two tracking versions (vBridger IOS/vBridger NVidia Webcam) to see what could be more suitable :D
On a side note, I'm aware that lighting is also quite a big portion of face tracking and was wondering if IOS methods have an advantage there?
Thank you!
Hello
AS the title says whats the best ? and BTW they have same price
ive found that the C930 is lagging cant reach 30fps any one can confirm that ?
sorry for my bad english and thanks in advance
What's the best budget webcam to buy now?
These are the webcams that are within the same price range ($50-100) and I wanna see which webcam you guys think are the best:
Logitech C920/C922 ($50/60)
Razer Kiyo ($50)
Logitech Brio 300 ($50)
Anker C200 ($70)
Logitech Brio 500 ($80)
Logitech Streamcam ($100)
Which of these is the best value?
I've been searching for my first webcam, and see that there is a c922, c922x, and a c920S. Are any of these preferable to the c920 for streaming? I'm not using a green screen.
You don't need more than a C920 and some good lighting for streaming.
The C922x can do 720p60, so it has a higher frame rate than the C920. It also has a better low light sensor, so if you don't have good lighting, it won't be a blocky mess.
The C920s is just the C920 really, don't bother with this.
If you can spend the extra money or can find a C922x on sale, then the 720p60 would be better (sorta) for streaming than the C920.......only for the frame rate.
.....all those numbers, my god...
TLDR: The C920 is perfectly fine for streaming. Support it with good LED lights. If you find the C922 for comparable prices, then buy that one instead.
I have both a 922 and a 920, and the only reason I got the 922 was that the 920 is notorious for not working well if you get a second of the same model and there's a lot of compatibility problems with the software treating them as different pieces of hardware.
As best as I can tell, they're really the same camera. Save the 30 bucks and get the 920.
My current camera is an old canon eos. Great quality but low resolution (video only goes up to 576i), so Iโm looking for a camera with 1080p for making full frame videos and streams. These are the options Iโve seen people recommend and theyโre all within the same <200 dollar price range
Obviously the c922 is the cheapest but Iโm looking for your guyโs experience with the cameras as YouTube reviews donโt always give the full scope of how good a product is.
I already have a pretty solid ring light and plenty of natural light in the room, all recording happens during daytime and thereโs no light source behind me, so lowlight performance isnโt something I care all that much about
Iโm curious what web cam people use and if they like itโฆ.
Iโve got a pretty crummy no-name freebie and Iโm looking to upgrade. Recommendations?
I used the Logitech c922x for years before moving to a mirrorless SLR. (Sony a6100)
Both of those are pretty standard picks in their class.
There are a handful of upgrade pick webcams out there above the c920/922, I donโt have experience with those.
But the 920 is a decent balance of capability and price.
C920< C922< Logitech Streamcam< Elgato Facecam< dslr/mirrorless
Just make sure to learn how to use lights

I have tried changing the settings within OBS and the Logitech software. The above comparison is the EXACT same settings for both webcams and the EXACT same lighting.
I have 2 LED lights that I use on low brightness that I have used for months now with the C920 and have lit the webcam up perfectly. But now with the Streamcam even with the lights on FULL brightness, it looks extremely noisy/grainy.
Another comparison (FULL brightness on LEDs): https://imgur.com/a/IPwHJns
And another comparison (bedroom light on): https://imgur.com/a/88ilEpW
The Streamcam all around just looks so much worse IMO. Even if I change the Streamcam to 30fps it barely improves the color/grain and STILL looks worse. Watching comparisons of the webcams together I have not seen this issue... super confused and would really appreciate any sort of help!
Hey r/Twitch sorry for the dumb and probably asked before but i could only find a few posts.
Majority of the posts seem to say the C92x series are better, however there are multiple of them.
I'd like to buy a new webcam to begin streaming, making simple videos and for work/friends/family meetings.
I've done a bit of research but tend to get confused soon enough.
I've looked into the Razer Kiyo, the Logitech StreamerCam and the Logitech C9xx series.
The Razer looks great but i wont have any issues with lighting at all, is there any point in still getting it if i don't need the main gimmick?
The Logitech StreamCam looks great with the 1080p & 60 fps but im worried its specifically targeted at people who don't know better and see the word "stream" and buy it.
There are so many Logitech C9xxs going around, I can see a lot of people saying the C922 is great however there is a logitech C930e, is this better than the logitech c922 pro stream webcam?
Currently my thoughts are to go with either the Logitech StreamCam or the Logitech C922 Pro stream webcam, they are about $209 & $199 respectively in Australia.
The Brio i've looked at however it seems there are plenty of people having issues with the BRIO and is 4k webcam even worth it?
Any help would be very appreciated!
Hey,
I've been working with the "Logitech c922 Pro Stream Webcam" for years now.
I feel like I am at the point where it is time to upgrade, especially when I crop my clips for social media and see how bad the quality really is.
Any affordable recommandations would be highly appreciated!
(it's also possible that I'm not getting the most of the c922, so if you know how to upgrade the quality without adding new hardware, please let me know)
Edit: Thank you guys!
After getting a lot of constructive feedback, I managed to upgrade my quality without spending money (yet). Installed Logitech ghub and saved a custom video settings profile, so I got rid of the automated stuff and don't have to reset it every time I open OBS. I adjusted my lighting so there is almost no shadow on my green screen. Still considering getting either the kyio pro stream or the logitech brio 4k as an additional webcam since I stream livedrums and could use more angles and maybe I'll add a small softbox or LEDs.
I'm interested in buying a Webcam that will be used on Linux for the short future, later on Windows on another PC.
I'm not a Professional Streamer or Content Creator, I don't have any previous experience with Webcams and I just want to buy the best I can in the price range of 95 - 135 Euros.
I'm considering one of the following options :
a) Razer Kiyo (I'm aware that Razer doesnt offer Synapse 3 on Linux).
b) Logitech 922 Pro
c) Logitech 925e
d) Logitech 930e
It's been a while since I did the research, but iirc, the Logitech 920 is equal to the 922, just lacking a feature or two that may not even be necessary. I think the main thing was that the 922 could do green screen without needing a physical green screen. I don't know if it matters to you or not, but the 920 is probably the most common cam for streamers, and may save you some money.
Logitech StreamCam
Hi there.
I am wondering guys, what is better webcam for 1080p streaming? I was reading some topics about this before but some of them are kinda older and there were also described some software differencies which may changed to these days...
Both webcams are in the same prices right now.
Thanks for your answers.
I work at Best buy and we just got these in today, it's listed as being a camera specifically for Twitch or YouTube streaming, seems to have 1080p/30fps or 720p/60fps. It also says it has live background replacement (green screen I think?) I know the c920 is a favorite around here, myself included, I'm just wondering if anyone has seen or had a chance to use one yet?
