My company and my spouse's company are offering us the option to relocate to Austin from the Bay Area. We both get to keep our current roles, but the move to Austin comes with a 15% pay cut.

What's the best way to estimate the difference in bi-weekly pay between CA and TX? I know there are online calculators, but is there one that is most trusted?

Also on a more personal note, if you were in this position, would you consider moving to Austin?
