Hi. I’ve always read that you’re never supposed to put Calphalon non-stick pans in the dishwasher, but my roommate did unknowingly and now it looks lighter on the bottom and it for some reason feels lighter in weight 🤷🏼♀️??? Anywhoodles, is it still usable or am I just going to have to get a new one? He’s paying me back, but this thing was expensive and I want to know if it’s trash or not.
It should be fine. Try cooking in it, if the nonstick coating still works then its fine. I believe calphalon pan is dishwasher safe as well. I just wouldnt use the dishwasher often.
If the bottom is lighter, then its possible that some of the anodized coating came off. However, that does not amount to a lower weight, its just in your head.
Depends on which Calphalon pan version it is, classic vs unison vs Contemporary etc.
I put my unison and contemporary in the dishwasher all the time, they’re dishwasher safe.
