New to the e wallet stuff and was wondering if this was even possible
The title is the question, has support been added by square to support Samsung Pay? I'd like to be able to use my watch to use my Cash App card for once. It's been on the radar for over a year now with no resolution. Apparently ApplePay and GooglePay work with the card, but Samsung doesn't?
Anyone able to help me? I got a new phone and am trying to add my cards to Samsung pay, but my cashapp card has the "verify card" thing and it's not letting me, it works/worked fine on my old phone but not this one for some reason
I recently got my CashApp card and was hoping to add it to Google Pay, but it didn't let me for being under 18. So I tried Samsunf Pay instead but once I agree to the Terms of Service it tells me, "The card info you have entered is invalid. Try again." I've tried multiple times, but to no avail. I assume it's because I'm under 18, but does anyone have something else in mind?
CashApp is not compatible with Samsung Pay. I've just tried it myself, it won't work even if you're older than 18.
You might have to pick another compatible bank on that link and get an account with them. Although I'm not sure what the rules are for minors on these, so you may still have issues.
Edit: Looks like Sutton bank (the bank that manages the CashApp card) is on there, but it still gives me the same error you got.
Best to not try connecting Fintechs directly.
Get a real bank account to use as your "hub"
then connect Cash App, Samsung Pay, gPay, etc all your fintechs, prepaid cards, brokerages, crypto apps, etc to the bank account
and use it for your important stuff
A local one with a B&M branch you can physically visit is best, get to know the staff. https://reddit.com/r/personalfinance/w/banks_and_credit_unions
If you want a online only bank, I highly reco Needham and Discover Bank for that purpose.
