March 26, 2024 -

Looking for recommendations. my oldest has been going out places with her friends and I’d like to have a way to give her some money without handing her cash or one of my cards. Can anyone recommend a good debit card for someone under 13? EDITED TO ADD My bank doesn’t offer any accounts or cards for those under 16. I’m aware of various prepaid cards that are geared toward kids but have seen mixed reviews on most of them.

Wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to open a new account for my son who recently turned 15. Does bank of America allow for teens to have accounts? I'd like to teach him some good spending habits and how to save as he begins to look for a summer job. Thanks!
