r/Hypothyroidism on Reddit: Has anyone treated their hypothyroidism through lifestyle and diet changes?
October 20, 2021 -
My doctor today diagnosed me with hypothyroidism. My TSH levels were around 6. She asked me to make a few lifestyle changes - taking it easy on foods from the cabbage family, getting proper sleep, reducing stress and then get tested again after 90 days. I've been extremely stressed the last few months and lost a lot of sleep because of that, I'm guessing that worsened my case.
I was wondering if making lifestyle and diet changes worked for anyone in helping cure hypothyroidism.
