Want to buy a MacBook.. says the sale ends Monday. The issue is id like to split the payment across two cards. If I call and order over the phone is that something I can do? Or do stores have the ability to make split payment purchases from curbside?
So I am trying to build up my credit, as I don't have a very long credit history and I've been told getting some more regular payments on my history will help. It just so happens I am in the market for a new laptop, and am looking at a $2,200 laptop. I applied for the Best Buy credit card so that I could get the 24 month no interest financing. Unfortunately, I was only approved for up to $1,000. The good news is, I have another credit card (with a much higher limit) that is 0% interest for the next 16 months along with a promotion that if I spend $500 within the first 3 months, I'll get $200 back. Best Buy website doesn't allow to split payment between 2 credit cards, so if I buy $1200 worth of Best Buy gift cards with my other credit card, would I be able to use them with my Best Buy credit card to take advantage of the 24 month financing? Very convoluted, I know, but I am trying to build up my credit and take advantage of some of these offers instead of just paying for it in cash. I also want to make sure that I'm not buying the gift cards for nothing if it turns out I can't do this.
