r/APStudents on Reddit: Cancelling or Withholding Scores After June 15 Deadline
August 31, 2023 -

Hi, I'm an incoming college freshman and haven't sent in my official AP scores yet. However, I'm trying to withhold some scores I got from the AP tests I took in senior year, but apparently, there was a deadline of June 15. Does anyone know how I can still withhold/cancel the scores after the deadline so the colleges don't see my shitty AP scores from my senior year?

r/APStudents on Reddit: AP Score Cancelation & Withholding - Please Help
January 25, 2025 -

Hello, I am a student who self-studied for multiple AP exams, and I am concerned that I did not do too well on some of them. I read on the College Board about canceling scores and withholding scores, but can someone please explain the specifics about what the "free score report recipient" means? If I do not cancel my scores, can I withhold them at any time? Is there a deadline? I read that June 15th is the deadline for the free score report recipient, but can I pay and have it sent later? How are AP scores sent in general, and how does withholding scores work?

Thank you so much!
