I've been trying to add my credit card to my iPhone’s Apple Wallet, but it just won’t work. Strangely, I can add it to my Apple Watch Wallet without any issues.

I’ve already tried everything:
✅ Removing all cards
✅ Deleting and reinstalling the Wallet app
✅ Switching internet connections (Wi-Fi, cellular)
✅ Disabling VPN
✅ Restarting my iPhone and Apple Watch
✅ Checking for iOS updates

Despite all this, the issue persists. I’ve contacted both Apple and my bank multiple times, but they just keep bouncing me back and forth, with neither taking responsibility.

Has anyone experienced this before? Any solutions that worked for you? I’m out of ideas at this point! 😩

I got a new Apple Watch and I’m trying to add my credit and debit cards to it. My credit card was added with no problem, my debit card will not add and says I need to contact my card issuer. The debit card works fine on my phone.

I removed the debit card from my phone and added it again and everything works fine on the phone, still cannot add it to the watch.

I contacted my bank and the person on the line was utterly useless and just told me they couldn’t help with problems with an app on my phone and said my debit card was working fine.

Any suggestions?

I can’t add cards to my Watch even though they are on my iPhone.

I’ve tried pretty much everything - unpairing the Watch, changing regions, signed out of iCloud, tried adding the cards manually, deleted the Watch app…without success.

Any other ideas? Thanks.

I’ve been satisfied with SoFi since switching to them a few months back, except for the fact that no matter what I do, I am unable to connect my debit card to my wallet on my Apple Watch.

Heck, I even read that it could have been just an issue with the debit card I was issued in particular, so I temporarily moved all my banking to a different account entirely so that I was able to request (and wait for) a brand new debit card with the assumption THAT should solve my issue.

It didn’t. Now I have a new debit card and STILL cannot add it to my Apple Watch wallet. It might seem silly to some, but I use it as a method of payment so frequently that I absolutely must have that ability, and not being able to get past this is making me consider not bringing my money back to my SoFi account at all.

What the heck am I missing? Why can’t I get this to work??

I unpaired my watch and repaired it again hoping to sort out the battery drain since the last update and now my store cards have disappeared from my watch wallet, although they are all still on my phone. Can anyone tell me how to add them?

I'm running into this problem - I set my son up with a watch, through my phone. I've got Apple Pay set up on my phone and my watch both, and have credit cards in my Wallet, including his debit card (Greenlight). But when I go to the settings on his watch, there are no cards listed and try to Add Card I just get the message below. What am I missing?

From the link above I have to go to My Watch > Wallet & Apple Pay then I can add cards to apple watch.

But in my case, in My Watch I can only see Wallet,

and when I tap I can only set notification, I cannot add any card.

I have contacted for Apple support once, but didn't receive any feedback.

Any suggestion on what I should do?
