I have a 3rd Gen iPhone SE and I want a 15 Pro. Do I have to fix the screen before I trade it in? Or will they just reduce the trade-in value and I’d compare that to the cost of fixing it?
Or does it depend on the specific trade-in offer/phone?
The screen is fully functional in all areas - it’s just cracked at the very top between the screen protector and my case.

Can I trade in a device that is damaged (such as a cracked screen) or not working?
When I trade in a device and get a virtual gift card, what can I use it for besides a new phone?
What makes the Verizon trade-in process so convenient?
We just got my mother in law an iphone 14 and were going to trade in her iphone 8 since the promo was $350 off with trade in. However, we took the case off and noticed the back is shattered. I went on the website to see if there's a reduced trade in value but I couldn't find the promo anywhere. When we traded in our father in laws phone on a promo a couple of years back they accepted it but with reduced trade in. I just want to get a feel for how much their bill will be now without the full trade in but I can't find the promo anywhere.
Wife dropped her iPhone 14 and cracked the screen. The touch works, but there is a thin lcd line down the screen as well as spider cracks. It is paid off.
Anyway I can trade this in toward a new phone for her??
“Trade in any phone, any condition, guaranteed, from Apple, Google or Samsung. Select Unlimited plan req'd.”
As the title says, is this true? Verizon wants to offer $830 over 36 months for a 14 pro, without asking condition. Does this mean regardless of the condition of the phone they’ll give that amount of trade in? The device is fine except for water damage and broken face ID.(a 600 dollar repair) Or will they turn it away /offer much less? Theyre also offering that same amount for a second gen SE. cant see how this could be real, and don’t want to make a mistake and end up with a low value for broken phone.
Any help would be great!
