Hello fellow investors,
I'm 20 years old, and I'm looking to fire off ideas back and forth between fellow investors (mutual gain) to seek financial freedom as soon as possible. I realize that ’soon’ doesn't mean I'll get stupid wealthy within months or a few years, but in reality, being able to do meaningful things without worrying in my 40’s. My holding is currently in a global small/mid-cap DIY mutual fund (5star on morning star) that I've had since 2018. If I'm straightforward, I'm just looking for advice.
So basically I've read a few books regarding investments starting with ’Investing in Canada for Dummiss’ (all 5 of them mutual funds / ETFS/etc) and ’the everything guide to investing in your 20s 30s’. There are a couple more that if you'd be interested ill let you know while also a few podcasts on Audible, include ’my electrician drives a Porsche’ and more. I've done prior research before buying these books (reading reviews/ word of mouth) and its straightforward no bullshit. I'm currently investing in MAW150 if your curious I've made a small gain (appx $1300) from my initial investment.
